Advertising Terms & Conditions
- Acceptance of terms and conditions
The submission of vacancy details to SRS constitutes an acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Client. The term ‘SRS’ refers to the business operated by Specialist Recruitment Services Ltd of The Homestead, Stafford, ST21 6JU, UK. The ‘Client’ is the company, agency, firm or individual who is using an SRS jobsite to advertise a vacancy or other inventory.
- Submission of vacancy details
The Client is responsible for posting their own vacancies on the SRS jobsite.
In order to maintain the integrity of the jobsite, vacancies must relate to a single position. We are very likely to refuse to activate an advertisement for multiple vacancies. All vacancies must advertise an actual position currently available and generic job descriptions will not be accepted.
Duplicate jobs will not be added to the site and will be deleted from our database without prior consultation with the Client. The original job posting will remain and the date it was posted will not be changed.
- Alterations and improvements
Every vacancy posted is reviewed by SRS before going live on the site. We reserve the right to make whatever alterations and corrections we consider necessary to preserve the integrity of the jobsite and to ensure that the position is easily found by visitors to the site. These alterations will be made without prior consultation with the Client.
- Publication of vacancy details
Any vacancy posted will usually be made live on the site within 4 hours, provided it is approved after the review process.
- Advertising rates, payment terms & cancellations
Invoices are issued on the date the first vacancy is posted and will be made out in full for the contracted period of advertising. Payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice and it is SRS’s policy never to give refunds. If a Client does not fulfil the number of job slots they contracted to they will not be entitled to any refund.
Where an employer or agency makes an advance booking for jobs and then wishes to cancel, SRS will offer a refund depending on how much cancellation notice we are given prior to the agreed start date of the advertising campaign:
- More than 30 days notice - 100% refund
- Between 15 and 30 days notice - 50% refund
- Between 7 and 14 days notice - 25% refund
- Less than 7 days notice - No refund
We will not offer a refund for advance bookings for other inventory, eg banners and eshots.
Due to the nature of the Internet there may be delays or interruptions to our service that are outside our control. SRS shall not be held liable for any losses arising from such events. SRS shall not be held liable for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by an act or omission of the company, its directors, employees or agents.
These terms and conditions apply from 22nd July 2018 and replace any previous terms and conditions. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions.
SRS reserves the right to remove any job posting or content from any SRS jobsite, which in the reasonable exercise of SRS’s discretion, does not comply with the above Terms, or if any content is posted that SRS believes is not in the best interest of SRS.

Due diligence processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we:
- Operate strict procurement processes, requiring suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and standards, including those which relate to the Modern Slavery Act;
- Expect our suppliers to have suitable policies and processes in place within their own businesses to prevent child labour, modern slavery and human trafficking and to cascade those policies to their own suppliers;
- Undertake a continuous review of assurance information from existing suppliers and partners and follow up where relevant;
- Have included a specific item relating to the Modern Slavery Act in the agenda of the contract management meetings with suppliers enabling us to be kept informed of and monitor any changes;

- Obliging suppliers to report to us if they are aware of or suspect slavery or human trafficking in a supply chain connected to any SRS contracts;
